Residential Summer Camp
This camp is a residential camp for girls aged 7-16. English horseback riding is our primary and most important activity. Each camper rides twice a day and will ride the same horse or pony for the entire week they are at Ravencrest. It's almost like having a horse of their own!!
Horseback riding is the main focus of our camp program with individualized instruction for the beginner to advanced rider. Horse care, stable management, arts & crafts, games, swimming, activities and evening campfires round out the camp experience at Ravencrest.

Volunteer Program
Ravencrest offers a limited number of volunteer positions each summer as Counsellor in Training (CIT). These positions are for 16-year-old girls who wish to develop their leadership and horsemanship skills and enjoy being in the camp atmosphere.
CIT's will assist counsellors in running the daily camp program as well as develop their own teaching and childcare abilities. CIT's may also have responsibilities for overseeing general stable management and basic care of the horses.
These positions offer the applicants the opportunity to build responsibility and valuable work experience. Volunteer hours can be recorded toward mandatory high school service requirements.
First aid qualification and previous camp experience such as the Working Student Program is an asset. Volunteers are required to attend a pre-camp training weekend in June.
Please complete an application and return it to us by June 1st if you would like to be considered for a position.
